Things to Know
There is not a guarantee that we will see any wildlife. These are wild animals and I will do my best to find them for you but it is never a guarantee they will be out and about for us to see.
Most of this is a driving tour. You must be able to sit in a vehicle for long periods of time. Bathrooms are located on far parts of the bog or are porta-potties.
Snacks are important to bring. If we get a good day and are seeing lots of wildlife we may not be stopping for lunch which is about 15-20 min from the main part of the bog.
Some trails are not accessible in the winter months.
We start early and sometimes end late. If you booked a full day guide, prepare to be there just before sunrise and not leave until after sunset.
I am not a trained naturalist, but I have been to Sax Zim Bog for many years and know the spots wildlife are commonly seen.
