Things to Know

  • There is not a guarantee that we will see any wildlife. These are wild animals and I will do my best to find them for you but it is never a guarantee they will be out and about for us to see.

  • Most of this is a driving tour. You must be able to sit in a vehicle for long periods of time. Bathrooms are located on far parts of the bog or are porta-potties.

  • Snacks are important to bring. If we get a good day and are seeing lots of wildlife we may not be stopping for lunch which is about 15-20 min from the main part of the bog.

  • Some trails are not accessible in the winter months.

  • We start early and sometimes end late. If you booked a full day guide, prepare to be there just before sunrise and not leave until after sunset.

  • I am not a trained naturalist, but I have been to Sax Zim Bog for many years and know the spots wildlife are commonly seen.

Cancellation policy

There is no refund if we do not see the wildlife you want to see. As stated above, there is no guarantee we will see anything.
