Thousand-foot lakers [ships that sail the Great Lakes] and salties [ships that cross oceans/salt water] cross the lake to the ports of Duluth and Two Harbors. In the winter time, the big ships often get ice-coated as the below-zero temperature on Lake Superior are cold enough to cause the water spray to ice up on the ships.  This drop in air temp will also produce Sea Smoke on the lake as you see in the background.

My prints are printed on high-quality paper, ensuring that the colors ad details are preserved. Whether you're looking for a special gift or a beautiful addition to your home my prints are a great choice.
